The LV series homes are not actually prefab homes. They are kit homes and are built on site, not delivered in complete form. Whether the home is green or not shouldn't be dependent upon space - rather on materials and processes used to build and sustain the home. The LV series is green in principle, with a focus on high energy efficiency and they can incorporate any type of green system such as solar, geothermal, etc. Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | Rocio Romero LV Prefab Home in Napa, California |

You just can't beat Ikea when you've got a low price point. They really can make children's rooms look bright and welcoming at a very affordable price. I'd go with bold colors to brighten up the room. The Barnslig matching set is wonderful with greens and reds and blues. Apartment Therapy - Good Questions: The $500.00 Nursery |

I found that a nail file didn't help that much because their nails are so soft and flexible. Really, just bite a little at one end and then peel the nail off. It's so easy. I tried using a clipper and pinched and cut my baby's skin. The skin peeled on his fingers for a week and he had terrible hang nails. Bitting, although it sounds strange, is much better. I was at Ikea on July 3rd to buy the Gulliver (thanks to all the positive reviews), and they confirmed that it's been discontinued. The Sniglar has similar clean lines and can be painted or stained, but I felt like it was not as solid construction as the Gulliver. It felt more flimsy upon inspection.
