What a pretty name you chose, Miss_Shwee ;) I'm assuming you know it means Noble woman, or Fair-skinned woman... but did you know both mean the same? Since it originated in the Middle Age, fair-skinned people were people who could afford not to work in the fields, which meant they were of higher status. Oh well. Here, in Quebec, it's quite common, though. Quite common as in having 3 fellow Genevieves in my classes when growing up... Hard copies got delivered to customers this week, here in Montreal The thing that bugs me is the price difference between american and canadian markets... If someone could explain it, it'd be great :P For example : That yellow bed, 299$ US? In CDN, it should come to 315$... but it sells for 449$!! That white couch, that sells for 499$? I've got the same furniture in the corner of a hallway. That way, it doesn't block the doors the way a flat against the wall table or desk would do, and nothing ever falls behind it because of the cats (since it's a 'corner' TV stand). There's no TV on it though. Just a couple of books, picture frames and artwork leaning against the wall. Never though of using those baskets... Great idea! It diminishes clutter a whole lot! I've seen those keycard slots in Cuba as well. The issue can still be, because we were issued two cards so had we wanted to, we could have kept one key in the keycard holder, and one key with us. As far as the bedside switch goes, I've got a remote control / dimmer for my bedroom light. My toes are happy I made that choice. I don't see that as a Green thing, though.
