I second (or fourth...) the burrito ideas. I make them all the time, and they're crazy quick, handy and tasty. My pal had a baby a few months ago and I made veggie chili, burritos, soups and a pasta casserole type thing. (Even easier than lasagna, just cook noodles add diced peppers, spinach, cheese and tomato sauce.) I put everything I made in aluminum pans with lids (with the exception of the soups, which went in ziploc type containers) and marked 'em with the ingredients and heating instructions. I bought 4 at Costco. They're solid as all get out, and they were only $100 each. I'm in Canada, but the Costco website has some listed in different sizes and colours (chrome and black.) Does your machine have a trap at the front? Some just have a pull out drawer near the bottom of the machine. If this is the case you can pull it out (put a rag on the floor as some water will likely spill out) and clean the trap. It may be kinda gross. My machine doesn't have a simple trap, it has a panel that needs to be removed by unscrewing the screws on the sides of the panel. I would have never known about this if my aunt hadn't gotten her washing machine repaired and the repair person showed her. How Do I Clean a High-Efficiency Front-Loading Washer? Good Question |
