Thanks to everyone for sharing...this thread has made me feel a lot better, too. : ) Although my husband and I have good intentions, his crazy work schedule and my exhaustion from chasing around a super-active toddler all day often leave us derailed (especially if we have been over-ambitious during a higher-energy moment and planned complicated meals involving the washing and chopping of a bazillion veggies - we joke that produce comes to our house to die, hee-hee!). Just wanted to say that we made this (with the veggies in addition to the chicken), and it was very easy and very yummy. We used ovenproof ramekins to make individual pies and were able to make enough for both dinner and lunch another day out of the ingredients, hooray! It was just the thing for a cold fall night - thanks so much for the recipe! : ) Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Robyn's Easy As Chicken Pie Quick Weeknight Meals Recipe Contest 2009 |

I really, really love my Magic Bullet! I was a total doubter at first, but my in-laws, who swear by the thing, let me try theirs out, and it was awesome! It does take a few tries to get the pulsing technique exactly right (pushing down too zealously/for too long/with the plastic cup tabs in the wrong place can grind up the tabs on the plastic cup or start burning up the motor), but once you've got it down, the Bullet works great. I mostly use mine to make smoothies (although I have also made things like hummus in it with very good results) - it does a much, much better job of pulverizing the ice and getting the smoothie to the right consistency than my blender (which is a fairly high-quality model). If yours is having problems processing ice in smoothies, make sure you have enough liquid in the container - sometimes just adding a little more liquid will make the blending a lot easier. Also, I like to shake the container a couple of times in between pulses just to make sure everything is distributed properly. I've had my Bullet for a couple of years and used it heavily with no leaks or problems at all, but my sister had one that seemed to leak right off the bat - I get the impression that if that happens to you, your unit is probably defective. Hi! We have the Hensvik crib for our almost two-year-old son, and we really like it. We feel the crib is very safe and sturdy. We like the fact that there is no drop side - we're pretty sure that if we had a crib with one of those, our kid would've busted out of the crib long ago. : ) I am 5'2" and my husband is 6'7", but we were both fine moving baby in and out of the crib. The only thing I would recommend, especially for anyone who's on the short side, is to lift out the entire mattress when changing the sheets and then drop it back in - it's a lot easier than trying to lean in and change the sheets. Also, we went ahead and purchased the best quality crib mattress Ikea had - it seemed a lot sturdier than the cheaper one but still didn't break the bank. : ) Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Good Questions: Feedback and Revews of IKEA Cribs |

Thank you so much for this recipe! I tried it with mini farfalle and 1/2 pound of sausage instead of 1/4 pound, and it was so good! The leftovers were awesome reheated with a little bit of olive oil and some cheese sprinkled on top. Thank you so much again for such a tasty, easy, nutritious addition to our weekly menu! : ) Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Dinner Quick: Anelletti Pasta with Sausage and Greens |
