Daisy11,
If you want a serious solution, you can purchase security bars with a box for the AC like this:
http://kaufmaniron.com/products.cfm?catID=23&prodID=70

You might check locally at security companies (such as www.familysecuritydoor.com) or for iron works.

On of my friends has this chair, inherited from an elderly aunt. I have coveted her chair for a decade.
Now AT can help me rid envy from my life! Hooray.

I think that grill pan would get a lot of use around here! Nothing is easier than pounding flat a chicken breast, soak it in milk and season it before grilling. Yum.

This could save my marriage! My otherwise wonderful husband is addicted to the "snooze" button and our current alarm makes the worst beeping sound. It would be so much nicer to be awakened by music!

I saw this in a catalog recently and although I love the idea, I was left wondering... won't it bruise the spirits? All my bartending books warn against bruising the booze. I would love to give this gizmo a whirl.

Anne in Chicago, I have that bag and I love it. I saw it recently, maybe at the Architecture Foundation store?

Reisenthel bags are really well made! In fact, I have three different Reisenthel bags... one that holds 9 bottles but is equally good for picking up yogurt, fruit or any small items that require extra protection. The third is similar but has one larger pocket and picnic accessories built in... perfect for Ravinia!
