thank you for posting another entry about studios. i have a ~550 sq ft studio and have been reading all the entries on interior design for studios that I can find. The 2nd apartment is one that gave me a great idea in positioning as I also am interested in having a queen sized bed out in the open.

as i don't have a car or plan to get one & live in a studio apartment. (and also don't takes trips on planes) my carbon footprint is quite small & i feel comfortable, morally, taking a bath whenever I want. i am very pleased to hear about this new gadget!

my dog is allowed on my bed, i just cover the bed with a 'pet hair grabbing cover' i found at fosters & smith. i just pop it in the laundry. she scratched up my old leather sofa very badly 'making a nest' to sleep so when i got a new leather sectional - everytime i go out.... i just lean up a few baby gates against it. my dog is afraid of baby gates - so that is an easy solution-she won't go near the sectional. emma (my dog) also has her own dog bed but she prefers to alternate between hers and mine - which is fine by me.
