I was excited when I saw these but they are around $3 a bag and you only get 8 oz! I'd rather pay two dollars more and get the big 17 oz TJ's baking bar of chocolate and put forth the extra effort to chop the chocolate I need. Great Baking Staple: Trader Joe's Chocolate Callets |

@Domyoji why is it weird? I prefer my chopsticks over the disposable, flat-sided wooden ones that are offered at sushi restaurants. Not only are they of better quality, but there is nothing to throw away afterward. Do You Have a Set of "Good" Chopsticks? |

I have a set of travel chopsticks that I love and always bring with me whenever I eat sushi. The barrel is metal and the tips are wood. I've received many comments on them when I dine out. :) Do You Have a Set of "Good" Chopsticks? |

I had to do some sleuthing because I simply HAD to know if I was eating wasps with my delicious figs...turns out, commercially produced fresh figs are from a variety that do not need pollination to produce fruit, thus no wasps involved. Dried figs on the other hand are usually from varieties that DO need pollination. Strange Symbiosis: The Fig and the Wasp |

Been intrigued by this spice ever since seeing Alton Brown use it in his apple pie recipe. I had never heard of it before. Still haven't used it, but I plan to pick some up the next time I make a trip to my favorite spice market. Ingredient Spotlight: Grains of Paradise |

How does one cook an egg like the one in the picture above? I guess what I mean is, how do you get that milky white over the (seemingly) runny yolk without flipping it? Or is that not a real egg up there? Dinner Solutions: Put an Egg on It |
