Ok, I'm going to do some shameless promotion too :) ...the items in my vintage homewares shop are mostly from my own collection and they're mainly mid-century North-West European porcelain/ceramic vases (but also some modular Quist and BMF candle holders)

I love the Utopia collection! It kind of reminds me of some of Bjørn Wiinblad's work for Rosenthal.

Hehe I just don't think everybody is looking for a "warm" house. Some people prefer light, "empty" spaces, because it makes them feel more organized, creative etc.
Also spaces like this are great for displaying art or that treasured design piece imo.
This is a photo shoot for an architecture firm, so the space has to look a bit more "empty" to emphasize the structure I guess.
And I do love the tub! I think it's an Agape Spoon bath.

I like it, I just wonder how the OSB would keep up in the bathroom... What kind of coating would you have to use to keep it mould free?

Hmm I saw something similar to those at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. They're called Pavé (by Kreoo). Pavé looks more natural though (and is probably not as comfortable to sit on, they're made of wood and marble).

Vagina?? err...

I love inkblots. I've been looking all over for real Rorschach cards, but they're quite hard to find here in the Netherlands :(
I did find the complete original set here:
But I can't afford that!

I installed extra small italian mosaic tiles such as the last photo as a backsplash, everybody advised against it because it would be to hard to clean etc... but I have to say that I love it so far! It looks cool and cleaning it really isn't that much of a pain. I did use an extra smooth black grout though...

and you probably also think those dogs in fourth picture look suspiciously phallic? :p

I love green walls, but don't you think they would be hard to maintain (especially indoors with all that dry air and lack of natural light) ?

I have a collection of 50's,60's and 70's ceramics, which I store in a huge cupboard. From time to time I take out a piece and put it on display on the dining table or on a coffee table. That way I never grow bored of them.

or if you would like it a bit more subdued, then of course I would pick fabrics such as Kvadrat/Maharam or De Ploeg.
Maybe this could work (you could paint the wood either black or white):

What a shame that you have to paint the wood...I don't know what the rest of your interior looks like, so I don't know if this would work, but maybe you could try smt different and use some Indonesian indigo batik on these chairs. Something along the lines of this:

or maybe even bold African fabrics (not necessarily those colours btw)

You can find Martin Visser couches on which is a kind of Dutch Ebay. shipping may make it a bit expensive though...
You could also try searches under other brands such as Pastoe and Artifort.

I love those Eames elephants! I would have one, even if I don't have children :)

What a coincidence that you posted this, since there's an open-air exhibition in Amsterdam (my hometown) now to raise awareness about the dire situation of the Asian elephant. The exhibition is called The Elephant Parade. The next Elephant Parade (2010) will be held in London.

I personally like grey a lot. I you are worried about the pink and maroon clashing with the grey on the wall, then I would paint it a more unsaturated grey.
For my bathroom renovation I was thinking of a lighter grey béton ciré (dove or maybe even a mossy grey) with white walls and blond wood.
