Bum steer, AT. Most of the designs are simply sight gags, kitsch, or worse. Not exactly what I anticipated from a "most creative" list. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | 40 of the Most Creative Lamp Designs |

When I priced Richlite for a kitchen remodel a couple of years ago, it was twice as expensive as granite. That's a hefty premium for a "green" product that won't perform as well. (Is granite green???) Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Richlite |

I own a 2-year old R&B York sleeper. It's a fine, sturdy sofa but only a so-so bed. I haven't test-driven the new one with the airbed (is it me, or does it stand a little tall?) but I did find out that I can retrofit it as a replacement item for $300 or so. I did this years ago in a Manhattan rental that had too many closets. (It was a LONG time ago.) It could get a bit funky and it was hard to change the sheets. But I loved it. My friends and I dubbed it the bedwomb. My next place had a Murphy bed, which I still miss. To never make the bed, and never have to look at an unmade bed. Bachelor heaven.
