Love this house--it's charming and livable and inspiring. Totally looks like a house in which life can be lived, well. We've just moved in to a dark, though similar house in Orinda, in the SF Bay Area. Toying with painting everything white. Currently there's a dark stained A frame ceiling and two kinds of trim in more of a honey color that's driving us nuts. Did you experiment with different shades of white? The paint color is Benjamin Moore's Silver Fox, and the trim is BM Decorator White. We repainted three years ago and it still looks crisp and lovely. If I were the naming god at Benjamin Moore, I'd call the field color Ocean Beach Sand on a Foggy Day. Anne's Bernal Heights Beauty House Call |
