Grocery bags are cool and I really like them. However, there is a problem with them... food-born bacteria. I live in Long Beach, CA and the city has banned any plastic bags (even recyclable ones), so there are carry-in bags everywhere. Problem is, people are getting sick. Bad stuff ranging from botulism to staph... no one sterilizes the bags and if you think about it.. you wouldn't want your grocer using bags with all kinds of foods together in them, so... I recommend using recyclable plastic bags for fruits.
Inside your very cool carry-in bag, of course :-)

Some nice stuff here! I especially like #1. Though small, #3 is great to actually cook in... if they would clear off the counter space so actual cooking could go on. Kitchen counter tops are not shelves to be filled with decorations.

The first and third kitchens are the only ones I would want to actually cook in. They are beautiful, as others are as well. However, a kitchen is for the business of cooking. I can't tell you the number of times I've gone to a date's place because she wanted me to cook for her... and we had to remove art, candles, flowers and such because things were going to melt, catch on fire or art would be splattered with grease... LOL When dealing with boiling water, red hot surfaces... function comes first.

Love the swan chair. I'd pay $300 for it. Paying $3,000 for a chair is like buying a $200 hamburger.

Some people don't want you going through their private trash. You should respect that. It is not for you to impose your particular beliefs on others, just as you probably recoil at the though of some religious doing that to you concerning faith, right? "Dumpster Diving" is TRASH DIGGING and yes, it is illegal. Where do you think most info on you is found and abused, including your SS#? Encourage others to be ecologiacally aware... don't rip their stuff off... they want it to go to the city, not you. That's selfish of you.

"Why won't we die"? Because we need to work more to buy more stuff to put in more rooms and eventually buy a bigger place, but that won't please mother now will it? No, no! "I noticed your neighbors have a new lawn"... so you grab a shovel and dig and dig "I'll show you MOTHER!" But she doesn't even notice your new lawn when she says "you have such a <cozy> little place" and that just sets you off...

And I'm not thrilled with the curly fry lightbulbs that are so lethal with mercury that if you break one, you have to evacuate the room immediately. And they have to be properly disposed of, like nuclear waste... is that what that "green" stuff is?

Catalogs come out, typically, in early October. I love Ikea, but I only have a few items as I try to mix things up. The thing I like most about them is I don't have to pay design school snob ego prices. I can see those candle stick going for $400 each... by some dude named Skift, who still lives with his mom and lives on Paxel.

I use a white one I got at Kmart. It is antibacterial and I have to keep reminding myself to clean it when I clean the bathroom, because it is a wee bit heavy but repels water and dries quickly and there is NEVER any soap scum or anything. $6 and I love it.
