I agree with you on moving the two chairs in front of the windows and scooting the couch. It has been in the back of my mind for a while now! It was such pain hauling that heavy couch up the stairs we just plunked 'er down and left her and haven't rearranged yet. The artwork on the floor is actually art books. Another thing I've been hankering to do is but up shelves to display the books and add some more framed art to the cluster of small ones I have up there. I only moved in a couple months ago so I haven't gotten around to this yet.

Thank you for the photoshopped images! I LOVE the introduction of the eggplanty purple in the room. I would never paint this room pink. And...whoever said black and green don't work together is very wrong IMO!
