Cats, children and economy...simply a lot less used with the roll coming off the back. Just the name "waterfall" suggests paper pouring off.

And please, if you're a guest at my house, do Not "fix" my toilet paper.

Thank you for your kindness to friends and guests who are replacing a roll if it runs out and the spare is handy. You folks can put it in any way you wish.

Love Love Love Girl after my own heart.
Forget the tp I'm completely focused on the wallpaper used in the studio/study room. Navy background, Pink pattern that reminds me of something I'd see on a temple wall in India.
Looks like you sourced it at Habitat and they've gone bye bye. I've looked all over the internet and can't find anything like this. Any suggestions?
Have I said it enough? I love what you've done with color and design. Pat

Keep the wood. Do some clean up and polishing with a quality product that nourishes the wood. No grocery store or standard hardware store polish goes on my wood furniture.

I like Rosini's American Furniture Preservative & Rejuvenator from www.kingdomrestorations.com Call them for great suggestions and personalized help.

Check out ebay for great fabric. I get smaller pieces of fantastic designer fabric for to-die-for prices.

One of my favorite sellers is dabruzzo Sorry, she takes the summer off. Start checking out her listings after Labor Day.

I live by the beach also and am constantly fighting mold. Apparently there isn't any insulation in the exterior walls and I get the mold in everything that's along one of those walls. Not just outside the furniture but on clothes, etc, and everything inside the drawers. Polishing and oil do not seem to help keep the mold away.
Tried vodka which seems to work the best so far. Said to actually kill the spores. Either that or they are so happily drunk they quit growing.
Going to try vinegar as it may work as well. A lot cheaper than vodka.

Years ago - '60s - I bought a marble top dresser with mirror at marvelously low price at an auction on Long Island. I've loved it, moved it, New Jersey, Calif, too many times to count. Last year it just kind of collapsed.
I definitely spent full price with someone who rebuilt, repaired and refinished the piece. Even polished the marble. I love my dresser as much as ever and don't regret a dime spent on repair.
Will do the same on my favorite wing chairs. I'm a fabricolholic - no recovery programs desired. I'll keep looking for the 16 yards of absolutely gorgeous upholstery fabric I know is out there, maybe I'll luck out on ebay. Then I'll spend spend what it takes for custom upholstery - down wrapped pillows, of course.
Very few "new" pieces in my house. Love my reclaimed gems.
