Lots of 404 Error messages...I'm desperate to see the sofa before/after, but I can't and it's killing me!!! But otherwise, I don't care what AT looks like, I'm still going to look at it.

My house was packed to the rafters with everything that the elderly lady who'd lived in it owned. I "inherited" rooms full of antique furniture (most of which I sent to auction, because it just wasn't my style), closets full of clothes and shoes and saved used wrapping paper and bows, the pantry and cabinets in the kitchen were full of canned goods (one had exploded! Botulism ATTACK!!), and the floors were littered with the dead carcasses of palmetto bugs that had met their doom. It all cleaned up pretty well, though, and now I have a lovely older home with hardwood floors and arched doorways and a ton of charm.

Thank you, luckypeach. Does renovating the kitchen in my 60 year old home demean the life lived by the folks who lived here before? Come on.

Ooh, they sound similar to salt prunes, which is a treat my Trinidadian roommate used to bring back from home! I hated them at first, but then I would CRAVE the salty/sweet/sourness when they weren't in the house. She sends them to me occassionally!

Yes to the cool chair in the first pic. Any idea of a source? I'd trade an ovary for that chair.

Just a little FYI - burlap stinks. I used a lot of it for a banquet last year, and it smelled pretty bad when it was all in a bundle. I imagine you could treat it somehow, but untreated, those curtains would smell awful.
