I was at Lowe's yesterday and was surprised to see that a 40 Watt equivalent LED light bulb was less that $20! It looks like prices are starting to fall more quickly. Hopefully soon I can afford to start replacing CFLs with LEDs! The Home Office Upgrade Checklist |

The first mower I bought when I got a house and a yard was a reel mower. Unfortunately it was of a cheap persuasion and now the gears are stripped so the blades don't actually turn... which is a problem. Also the grass grows unevenly in my yard for unknown reasons and by the end of the season all the mower would do is push the grass over. I'm looking at the LILLÅNGEN series of sink for my bathroom someday soon. The newest one - the one shown in pictures 1 and 2 - is surprisingly wide. I just replaced crappy oak buildergrade cabinets with IKEA and I think even the melamine doors look really good. Maybe it's just because they're only a couple months old, but I'm loving them so far! I plan on doing a further renovation to "L" out on one side and then I plan on getting the painted wood doors, but until then I think the cheapest option for doors is still pretty darn good.
