I'll usually trim them and plant them in my backyard and they'll regrow and the bulb grows into an onion.

They have the Momofuku Milk Bar Cookie Mixes ($16) which are actually pretty good. They have the Blueberry Cream Cookie MIx, the Compost Cookie Mix, and the Corn Cookie Mix. The Compost Cookie Mix is my favorite- you just add a stick of butter, an egg, crushed potato chips, and pretzels. Chewy and crisp at the same time... Super addicting!

I liked the old Bon Appetit for what it was but I also really love the sleeker look under Adam Rapoport. I renewed my subscription without any reservations though to be completely honest, I wish they had put anyone other than Gwyneth Paltrow on the cover. Maybe someone in the food industry or one of the recent James Beard award winners but not her.

I love this sprinkled over a halved avocado and scooping out the velvety flesh with a spoon. Such an indulgent yet simple snack. :)

I remember seeing this dish or a very similar one on a post on the Kitchn awhile back and I've used it in my rotation of favorite pasta meals ever since. In the summer when tomatoes are abundant, I love tossing in halved cherry tomatoes for a little acidity. Yum.

I had some dumplings at a Northern Chinese restaurant that had celery in them that made the taste very interesting. They were quite good. I think I'll have to try putting some into mine next time I make them.

I mix tuna with cooked rice, a splash of rice wine vinegar, black and white sesame seeds, and a little sesame oil to stuff it into fried tofu skins for my own version of Inari Sushi.

truffle salt is indeed wonderful... i love to sprinkle a little over sandwiches with salami, tomatoes, provolone cheese, and fresh basil. truffle butter is also fantastic... especially when you dip your french fries in it...
