I feel like a major flaw in this idea is that the end reader could always screen capture the msg and then have the ability to share it outside of its intended audience. Burn Note: The Untraceable, Read Once Email |

oh yeah. There were mornings I would turn on all four burners of my gas stove while I made coffee and got ready. It was also "free" heat since I didn't pay for gas. That was a cold miserable apartment a couple winters ago. - minneapolis We're Getting Desperate: Other Ways to Use Your Tech |

This is probably where I'm deficient in my tech knowledge - but for the vast majority of the US audience, don't most of us have some sort of digital cable box (comcast for me) that requires its own bundled remote? I'm positive the floors in my apt could use some of this, but I'm afraid some sections are too far gone as they're started to splinter. nah, being in mnpls it's more like "carry on, nothing to see." Sure there are the occasion storms that slow everything to an irritating crawl, but if things need to be done, snow isn't an excuse. Hunkering Down at Home to Weather the Snow | Apartment Therapy DC |

I don't mind it in this situation. I have a friend that did the same thing but the frames were black on a white wall - the positive vs negative space was too much though. Being monochromatic seems to be the way to go for this idea in my opinion. Hot or Not?: A Collection of Empty Frames | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

you can also go to some of the major retail stores (express, AE, etc) and get some boxes from them. Just ask nicely, they'll almost always have quite a few laying around. 8 Spots To Get Moving Boxes Free-Of-Charge | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

For a while I was doing the sigg thing until I built up a lot of sugar deposits and now it desperately needs to be scrubbed by I haven't been in the mood to buy their skinny scrubbing wand. So lately I've been using spaghetti sauce jars. I've even been taking them to work with me. I really enjoy drinking out of glass and I suppose i'll probably end up buying some sloms once I feel like stopping by ikea. My dad actually installed radiant floor heating in his house as it was being built in 1990 for the basement and first floor. He also installed it in the driveway to act as a snow melting system, but in its nearly 20 year existence has never finished this feature by installing a pump to move the water or alternative liquid through the driveway system. Retail stores go through extraordinary amounts of boxes weekly. I work in one and this is was I have been getting my moving boxes for years now. Once done moving I just recycle them myself, but I like the craigs list idea for getting rid of them. Anyway, I'm sure if you're strapped for cardboard you could stop my your local ... american eagle, express, nine west, hollister, etc., politely ask for left over shipment boxes and see if they'll give or save some for you. I'm sorry, but "20 Reasons Why The Midwest Pwns The Coastal Cities" would be incredulously false. These items we're all pulled from 10 different cities. It should probably be mentioned that you'll have to plaster the door frame after you remove the molding. The molding is there covering up some sizable gaps around the edges of the drywall and the door frame which is a hefty task in itself. as far as video monitoring goes - couldn't you just set up a webcam to monitor your child and access it through your home wifi or the internet. This is probably one of the last things I think about. I suppose I'm more concerned about the location/which part of town I want to live in and whether the apt is something I want to live. I recently moved to a new place as well and am now about 6 blocks from a large grocery store and 4 from a local CoOp. I still make the stop by target b/w on the way home from work. I suppose grocery proximity isn't as important b/c I tend to shop different stores to get the best deal on select items. I'll just resonate a few other comments, but with some twists. Shadow box, but drop them in like a ballot box. Cut slit on top to keep adding to the "stash." The photo album is the start of a good idea, but consider the ticket more. It is not some sort of pristine artifact (photo albums are cliche and kitsch). Treat it like a found object and start gluing them into a notebook and not just any notebook, something that you would enjoy seeing placed on the coffee table. Use PVA the glue them in. I also like the clothes line idea, but maybe use a small steel cable and binder or metal clips. Apartment Therapy DC | Good Questions: Creative Display for Ticket Stubs? |
