Speaking of Trader Joe's, their "Lightly Salted Crunchy Green Beans" are really delicious. They're a bit sweet (natural to the bean), lightweight/airy, and ultra crispy.

I have the Donvier machine in the image above. With the yogurt maker, you STILL have to scald the milk to the right temperature in a pot on the stove, cool it to 110 with a thermometer inserted, add starter, then put in the little cups that come with the machine. You then put the cups in the machine, plug it in, and wait 10 hours.

I've heard that the pilot light in the oven mimics the slight warmth of the machine, thus rendering the machine pretty useless.

However, I like the yogurt containers it comes with and the fact that I know it is heated to the right temperature.

I've never made yogurt in the oven, so I can't compare flavors.

I keep decorating items like this in Christmas cookie tins that are already sitting in my kitchen unused and taking up space.

We installed the Kohler Simplice faucet (option 2) about two weeks ago - it is quite great.

The only iffy thing is that the "spray" function sprays with a lot of force...can spray onto the counters a bit.
A nice extra is the "pause" function that stop water while the button is being pressed.

If the school requests that only whole potatoes be shipped in, then baked potatoes will be the only way they're served.

If schools don't order frozen french fries, frozen tator tots or those revolting potato "smilies" that they're pushing these days, then the main problem's solved.

Basically Google searches only show that the cake looked like a pyramid with its top cut off, and that several people want the recipe. No telling results, however...sorry to be unhelpful. :)

I have read that the no-knead bread recipe uses flat beer with no issues. So, freezing the beer should be completely fine.

Anita83,
I do not use ANY shortening in my whoopie pie recipe: the cookies are soft for three days with butter alone. I'd say forgo the shortening...

If anyone's in the market for a Skinny Mirror, buy the $5 floor mirror sold at Target. I ended up giving it to my friend, who loved check herself out in it.

Yep, this is mango lassi - the cardamom is the clincher.

Bananas are also often used in smoothies because the slight amount of fat in them adds thickness and smoothness.

It doesn't make any sense for the article to mention things we have too much of and don't need, in particular Shaving Cream, then note a substitute of Shaving Oil! That's just another option in its place, not a reduction of products.

Also, conditioner is a poor, poor substitute of shaving cream. I'll only use it in dire straits.
