Yup - I can relate to the naysayers here.

I'm in Canada, and finally, last night after a two week wait for a warm evening or weekend day, put on two sweaters and gloves and went out to plant three small pots for the front step.
My sister came out to chat while I was working and had to go in twice to get more clothes on.
Despite haveing a cup of tea on the go, I couldn't manage to do all three pots - I had to give up after only two as my fingers were numb!

I have stand alone (pedestal) sinks.

The pedestal is hollow on the inside, and the back is open - inside there gets N-A-S-T-Y.

@lili09 - I am loving that cork board idea to hang necklaces - I re organized mine this week, but have no spot to hang them, so they are still just in a box and will eventually end up in a mess again.
I also have (aha moment here!!) a bulletinn board I bought at a charity shop in a weak moment cos I loved it.....so this weekend.......well, you can figure the rest - thanks!!

I'm excited at the thought of the Ikea Kvartal with some breezy white drapes as shown.

I have a huge (butt ugly) closet system in my guest room that I can't afford to get rid of as I need the storage space for my clothes. I've investigated the addition of mirror doors but my contractor thinks they would add too much weight.

This looks like the perfect solution.

Thanks AT - your have no idea how many times I use ideas I have garnered from your wonderful site.
Muah!!!

My cranberries (see post above) worked beautifully - I loved this and so did my family, who voted it a New Years every year breakfast tr-addition.

What about replacing the honey with apple juice?
Would it stick together properly?

I'm halfway through making this and wondering if the cranberries were sweetened or not?

I have unsweetened ones soaking in brandy right now, but just tried one and they are NASTY!!! I'm thinking I should use sweetened ones (I have those too) and they are much more palatable....HELP!!

@ Keren25 - I am so going to get one to repot my indoor plant, brilliant idea.

I always do it on a counter, newspaper etc. thinking to myself "Oh, I'll be really careful, and won't spill any"....WRONG!!!! It seems an impossible feat for me.

Well done!

I'm in the process of decorating a century old house I just bought, and had been leaning in the direction of monochromatic grey, this is the clincher for me - I so love it.

I have just bought a house, and was thinking of using a different room for my bedroom as the bedroom is so small, but now am thinking I should just go with it, these tiny rooms are so inspirational!

There's a not very attractive california closet in the (small) bedroom, which has no doors, and is made of a laminate - needed as there is little storage for clothing - does anyone have any brilliant ideas on what could be affixed to the front to minimize the view of the inside when it's full of clothes?

Congrats, what a beautiful table. I hope the evening was wonderful (and I'm really sure it was).

I just put in an offer on an old house today (over 100 years) and am so excited I can hardly live with myself!!

No one addressed the neighbours upstairs putting their rugs out to drip down on your balcony.

If you know them I would just trell them you are putting plants out therem, and could they please not hang their rugs out anymore. If you don't know them, I'd just leave a not under the door telling them their rugs are dripping on your plants, and could they please desist.

They probably have no idea the havoc that is causing.
