We use the front lawn all the time. The kids play out front cause they have bikes they use on the street & driveway, we keep the water toys in the garage so it's easier than bringing them in the back. Yes it's mostly just a big lawn, but we play games out front but have bushes and flower beds close to the house. We even brought the grill up front cause we use the front more and it's closer to the kitchen. There is a little patio with a small table with two chairs and have another chair by a big flower pot. My brother and family use the back more cause of the play set they have - but here in Minnesota in the winter we never go in back, too much snow - so we build our snowmen out front, have snow fights. I wish there wasn't so much grass of course, but we don't always water it (hope for rain) cause we don't have a sprinkler system, so it's not as green as some of our neighbors who obsess over it, but we're happy with it. We do spend time in the back - we have a deck (which isn't the best), a couple gardens (that needs weeding) but never to to play in back as much as the front. Hmmm, maybe if we worked more on the back we would spend more time up there but I don't like spending my time on yard work - like to mow and be done with it.

In Minnesota depending on the city you live in the stores close at either 8, 9 or 10pm Mon-Thursday and usually all are open til 10pm on Friday & Saturday. And of course they are closed on Sunday. I think it's crazy the number of people who drive over the border to Wisc. on Sundays - it's called planning ahead people.
But I guess that just me.
Anyways, in the city I live in we have city owned liquor stores (open til 8 M-Th. and til 10 Friday & Saturday) and one that's just across the street (open til 10 everyday) that's independently owned. They both have a great amount of variety and quality product and the city store is priced quite well. I tend to go to the city owned store more cause my beer I like is a dollar cheaper there. We do have beer for sell at gas stations and grocery stores but I'd never buy it there - it's slightly less alcohol content and only sold in six packs, so why not just make the trip to a liquor store.

It's amazing to see about how all these different states handle alcohol sales. I've lived my adult life in Minnesota and have travel a bit in the states but guess I didn't even notice. Actually I remember being in New York and being able to buy regular beer at like a Duane Reede. But overall I don't buy too much just a twelve pack every month and a bottle of wine for some friends here and there.

oh my goodness - thank you for showing us this. They are so adorable. My niece loves dinosaurs, so Uncle is gonna be making up a few of these. Such a simple idea and so great.

The napkin idea is so cute. My brother & sister-in-law waited until Mother's Day and when they gave our mom their gift it was a pair of baby socks. Amazingly it took her a couple seconds to get it, but it was a cute idea too.

I bought on for my niece last year and she loves it - we put on puppet shows all the time. She designed it herself too. I've been wanting to get another one, cause they are just so cute.

I might be crazy, but the Potty Mitts don't seem that bad. I mean going to a public restroom can be nasty at times and you don't want a kid to touch the seat. It just doesn't seem too horrible.

I take care of my niece and nephew (during the day) and love taking photos (all the time). I got the quickpod a little over a year ago -- it's great. I set the timer and my 6yr old nephew goes and checks out the angle. It has a tiny mirror on it, but he likes to make sure it's perfect. It is really handy. I also comes with a tiny tripod. I thought I paid $20 for it, so it was priced well -- I use quite often.

the bottle cap tripod seems like a smart idea, everyone has a bottle when out and about. Only problem is when you are about empty wouldn't it tip over with the weight of the camera. That would worry me on that one

these are not exactly like what you have pictured, but it's ann option http://www.pbteen.com/search/results.html?words=lockers. I always get the pottery barn catalogs and the PBteen catalogs and I remembered they had som lockers. they are a little bit different than standard lockers (okay slightly) but there are a lot of options at their site.
