Question for anyone. Is mixing neutrals on different walls a good idea? I have a small one bedroom and would like to add some contrast without closing it up. Any ideas? Thanks!

I went to Dwell because of the house tours. I wanted to do both but didn't have the time or money. I'm not sure who's to blame but they should have never scheduled both events at the same time.

After putting Carrera marble in my bathroom, I'll never go near it again. It's hell to maintain. But, putting it in any area that does not have a sink, toliet, tub and shower makes perfect sense to me.

I have two of these lamps. The only negative is the quality. What you don't see in the pictures is that the body of the lamp is not that smooth. There are bumps and indentations in the wood that become more noticeable when the light is on. Still, there are a good value. I'm moving mine to the bedroom rather than the living room.

Stay far away from Carrera marble in the bathroom. It was the worse mistake I made in my bathroom remodel. Carrera is impossible to keep clean. I can't tell you how many stains, marks and etches I get ever wihen being careful. It's a soft stone and even when sealed still show water stains. Not to mention the area around the toilet. If I had the money, I would rip it out and put in granite.
