I just found an amazing danish style arm chair (wood, low to the ground) but the catch is, it doesnt have any cushions. The cushions would be on the seat and seat-back and square in shape. Does anyone know of anywhere in NYC that sells seat cushions, or should I just suck it up and sew ones myself? Apartment Therapy - Open Thread 535 |

I have no idea if method products are in fact any better or different than any other commercial brand cleaners. I do know, however, that my brooklyn pad could use some sparkle. I just moved in and am in the process of an entire renovation which unfortunately includes cleaning remnants of the last tenant's cat out of every nook and corner. Not a smudge, dustbunny or toilet bowl will be missed, I can promise you that. Wednesday Giveaway on AT:SF: Method Home Products |

GMCULP- All the furniture on that site are knock-offs. I hear that similar places are hit or miss. Some stuff is quality, while other stuff is just poorly copied so beware when purchasing that you compare the pictures on their site to the pictures of the real thing! Open Thread 374 |

Hey all, So I have a similar question but a little more complicated. I have a hatch skylight that goes directly from a wall in my livingroom to the roof. I need to find some sort of SECURE wall ladder to mount to the wall so that I can get up to the roof regularly. I thought of mounting several industrial bars (like stair rails or towel bars) to the wall on top of one another, but Im afriad it wont be strong enough. So does anyone have any ladder or other creative suggestions? Thanks a lot! The ladder has to be around 6-8 feet high and rather slim. Good Questions: Loft Ladder Suggestions? |
