I agree you don't "need" alot of stuff... the caveat is for very long at a time . With only a 5 month old I am so glad we borrowed, bought used, were gifted a few things that are only a couple months of use. However they were USEFUL. Going to the bathroom with a crying baby is 100x more important than many things- also feeling peaceful and safe. Clutter can be annoying but letting things annoy you is just as bad. A baby carrier, a yes another place to put the baby besides a crib is key. Get it used or pass it on. Diapers also can be used- so doesn't have to be a big expense. wow. how about donate that money so a kid or school who doesn't even have a computer can have one. This is beyond ridiculous consumption. Get a sticker saying my computer bought 2 computers.. Yes aesthetics and art are important in life but this just doesn't sit right for the money... ColorWare Done Right: 10 Proper Examples Roundup |

Using a crock pot even in the summer can be a good option- heats up your kitchen less than the oven. I've made yummy eggplant olivey tomatoey sauce /tapanade /rattatouie/ things that can be served room temp or warm. What Are Good Make-Ahead Meals for Spring and Summer? The article says she wanted her items to remain in the house for potential buyers to see (than would be given away)- a interesting idea about creating a home and "gallery". To have lived somewhere so long it does seem like you would want people to connect with your original vision- but it will be transformed by new users ( like her second husband) but they will at least have experienced the past. Looks great- love the table there (but now you have to post your dinning room!) and the use of the cabinets now. Looks like a place that inspires relaxed eating- and maybe a little cooking. Thanks for all your cool ideas. Good luck! Kyle's Kitchen Revision | Apartment Therapy Boston |

Colors are great. I love the round table change and the lighting project in the hutch- really makes that nice sofa look even cooler. The table placement in the kitchen has a weird feel than before- but maybe it makes sense in person- still would be fun to lounge while food is cooking!
