i might change out the art work and the small rug in front of the sofa with more colorful pieces. keep them solid but bright. with this you will have color low on the floor, mid range with the chair and at eye level with the art work. carry the idea of brighter art work onto the other wall we can't see so it seems balanced when you're actually in the room and not looking at this pretty chair in a photo. a bright lamp on the side of the sofa we can't see might really balance things out.
