Change out the blind for something with a bit more colour and put shelves over the baby window to connect the right hand press to the wall. Some kind of backsplash treatment would also make it look less unfinished.

Really disappointing. UK owned chain cafe nothing really special about Dublin featured AND it's not even her neighborhood. Must get me a submission form and so that AT can feature a unique take on a real Dublin neighborhood.

I'd be more worried about the toilet tissue running out than the candle.

In general though I don't really think there's anything inspirational about the apartment in my opinion it's very blah. Are Apartment Therapy running out of interesting spaces to feature.

I'd say keeping anything clean in Pittsburgh in 1936 was a full time job and definitely counted as exercise. This was the city that the amount of particulate matter in the air resulted in the street lights being left on night and day for the duration of WWII.

I'd go with either an Orla Kiely style multi colored leaf print or maybe a pale green and white pattern - regardless I think a patterned pillow rather than a solid will break up the mass expanse of blue better.

The Beacon is awful. The decor is already looking ragged around the edges and the hotel is situated in an office park several miles from the centre of the city. I'd avoid the Morgan also for modern decor try the Dylan - it's in a decent location as well.
