Black cats have the same shelter rep. That makes more sense than this dog thing (if you take into consideration people's general stupidity and the association with Halloween). First time I've heard it applied to dogs.

I've seen shelters offer a free black cat with the purchase of a non-black cat.

Thanks for the link, Sagekitten. Been in the market for them for about 24 hrs now. While cleaning the hardwoods, I noticed all the old doingers are bent.

Plant The Fairy or Darlow's Enigma under each window. They're very cute and will grab anyone who tries to climb in and hold them until the police arrive. I'm not kidding. You might have to pay the criminal's medical bills though.

As for the doors, add locks like it's a movie-style NYC apartment.

I drink unsweetened tea. I've always enjoyed it that way but then I enjoy black coffee, too... and, warm dark beer. Plus being female and Californian once meant an automatic no sugar allowed in drinks in public (pre-Starbucks).

My bf is from the South and drinks sweet tea so I suppose I will try it someday.

My light blue desk is great. Easy to clean. Hasn't discolored or stained yet. I've only had it since the Fall.

I would put it together on soft carpet and away from walls and other furniture. I chipped one corner of the desk and one corner of a drawer on a wall.

Had one as a teen. Also had insurance for it as I was in an apartment. The sex was great. Thanks for asking.
