nicely put. i like your metaphor about putting ourselves at the back of the line. i'm guilty of that all too often. and overextending. always. Be Your Own Guest: Learning to Give to Yourself |

I love my truffle salt. I ordered mine online and found that different brands contain different percentages of truffles. My jar was certainly more expensive but worth it, I think. I store it in the fridge, which the package recommends. I liked the idea of salt versus oil because it seemed I could get a much longer shelf life out of it. I have a condo without a tub. While I did not miss having one, I think many buyers would be turned off by that. I guess your size already limits families so maybe it's less of a concern with your kind of place. Does Shower, No Tub, Hurt Resale Value? Good Questions |

True Blues dish gloves. I've had a pair for years. You can clean with the hottest water and they don't get slippy with soap like some brands. Throw them in the washer when they get yucky. What Kitchen Cleaning Product Can You Not Live Without? |

I too am with running! I always loved baking and definitely cut back though not consciously. Like you, I still bake for special occasions. Running is a great outlet and invigorating. It's also an efficient way to exercise and all you need is shoes so it's a good workout for apartmenters. On Saying Goodbye To Baking & Hello To — What? |

I am a big fan of cooking from scratch but I do use mixes occasionally. I love the Ghiradelli brownie mix. It's good and quick. I usually have a trick. With mix brownies, i reduce cooking time by 5 minutes to keep them fudgey. I also like to ad extracts or expresso powder in chocolate recipes. I do a white cake mix for birthdays and ad almond extract. That gets topped w/ whipped cream and berries. Survey: Do You Use Box Mixes? |

i have the anchor hocking refrigerator dishes and i love them but they really are not meant to travel. the tops are glass and just sit top of the containter. i definitely recommend a glass container with a fitted plastic top. Looking for Glass Lunch Containers that Stack Well Good Questions |
