Thanks for all the comments. The room is still in progress and the yellow is actually a lot brighter during the day than in those pics. the color is benjamin moore's banana yellow.

I found the daybed while thrifting with my sister and she got it for us. I don't think it was intended as a changing table but it is a perfect height. It is a repainted dresser that had the top cut off and was replaced with an old formica table top that is not fully attached- but hardly unstable.

I agree about the daybed bedding and am looking for a newer comforter for that as well. We are thrifting and hand me down-ing as much as possible and so far our nursury has only cost us:
Changing table- $40 ( a gift from my sis so doesn't count but the price is there for reference)
Rocking chair-$75
Paint and supplies $100
Old comic books to frame as art work- $2.00
