This is my favorite couple, and my favorite apartment of all time on AP! It is the first time that I felt like, as Tina fey used to say, I want to go to there. This home is so welcoming and warm and tidy and down to earth.I am just speechless Meg and Andy. Thank for the pleasure of viewing your home. Meg & Andy's Radical Possibilities House Tour |

Two twin beds are so cute and will give you so much living space. They are very nice to sleep in and you will save money on bedding and mattresses. It is even possible to divide the room with a ceiling mounted curtain or back to back bookcase desk arrangement. I think sharing a bedroom is a grand idea and allows you to spend your money on things that mean more to you. How To Design Shared Bedroom For Two Single Ladies? Good Questions |

This bedroom is so beautiful in every way. I so wish I could put something together like this. It is so well organized and clean lined. We have always had Bostons and they are like art in any photos that include them. Thank you for the beauty of your design. Kiel's Element of the Unexpected Bedroom My Bedroom Retreat Contest |

We ordered a latex mattress from a place in California and could not tolerate the heat. Latex also has a smell that some may enjoy but that I found unpleasant. We were able to return the mattress but had to pay a heavy fee and shipping. We will never order a mattress without being able to try it out and return it locally within a time limit. I would leave the wood floors as they are. If you go dark with stain, every speck of dust shows. Instead I would put wood in the bedrooms instead of carpet. Maybe there is even wood under the carpet. I had carrerra marble in the kitchen and it not only chips, but stains. When we moved, I put in Cesarstone and it is a workhorse and always looks good. I have granite too but quartz will always get my vote. Introducing Maxwell & Ursula's Light Rental Renovation Project Renovation Diary |

This article was so beautifully written, it brought tears to my eyes. My husband and I are in our 70's and tonight, when we have dinner at home, we are going to get up and dance. What a wonderful idea! Home Cooking for Valentine's Day |

This house is perfect. I live in Milwaukee and know the houses in the Evanston area. Plus. I use Ben Moore Simply white in my whole house. This is after a test of every white you can imagine. The house is beautiful and so warm and welcoming. Bravo! Courtney & Michael's Scandinavian Comfort House Tour |

In my city, it's called Marshall's. Former name was Home Goods. The store you are showing is very fancy compared to mine. At mine, the pieces are mostly on shelves or scattered about the store, which also includes name brand clothing. Everyone I know goes there for some portion of their shopping and loves the hunt for treasures. Anytime of the night or day people are hauling out Oriental rugs or dining room chairs, lamps, sheets, huge mirrors. It is a fun store. HomeGoods Summer Preview! |

We have been married for 47 years and I love that he likes that I paint over woodwork to brighten the space. I used to think it was just me designing, but over the years, when we are at Crate and Barrel or DWR ,he has definite opinions that I value. We listen to each other and I never would have married someone who was my exact opposite. Marriage is hard enough without being polar opposites. We love each other because because it is easy to be together. Would You Date Someone if You Really Dislike Their Style? |

I do have a comment. I would like to see more age diversity. After all, people are working longer and a lot of us love to do and redo our living space. My husband is 72 and I am 69 and we totally enjoy adding subtracting and doing everything we can to make our condo space livable for the two of us and and our family. Let's see how WE live. I agree about using oil on stainless steel, besides, I don't use stainless sprays because I worry about my pets. I have a Liebherr and they recommend an oil called Neoblank which is very expensive. I think mineral oil would work the same way. 8 Tips for Removing Fingerprints from Stainless Steel |

May I add, never stop engineering you environment. My husband of 47 years and I (we are in our 70's) still get so much joy from making changes in our, now, condo. After selling the home we raised all our kids in, for some goofy reason we thought we were done once we switched to our much smaller condo.
