I do have a comment. I would like to see more age diversity. After all, people are working longer and a lot of us love to do and redo our living space. My husband is 72 and I am 69 and we totally enjoy adding subtracting and doing everything we can to make our condo space livable for the two of us and and our family. Let's see how WE live.

I agree about using oil on stainless steel, besides, I don't use stainless sprays because I worry about my pets. I have a Liebherr and they recommend an oil called Neoblank which is very expensive. I think mineral oil would work the same way.

May I add, never stop engineering you environment. My husband of 47 years and I (we are in our 70's) still get so much joy from making changes in our,now, condo. After selling the home we raised all our kids in, for some goofy reason we thought we were done once we switched to our much smaller condo.
No, no, no and I think it is partly due to my discovery of Apartment Therapy. We love it here and and are constantly tweaking like there is no tomorrow. Never leave Maxwell, and thanks for the inspiration.

I love the apartment , I could just look an look. We live in a condo in Milwaukee and also trained our small dogs to puppy pads that we put in the shower. It works. You two are darling.

This house is so well thought out and it is gorgeous. I especially love the guest room and the kitchen and the bathrooms and on and on. The use of the large personal photo is stunning. The lighting is dramatic and I am in love with white woodwork.I can just picture it with a houseful of partying people.

I love your home, it looks like there is a lot of love there. The yard is so serene. We have Bostons and adore the affectionate breed. Just a thought, we have always used a harness rather than a collar because of the breathing difficulty with these dogs. I bought one harness and used it as a pattern to make my own. If you have a sewing machine, you can find all of the stuff at the fabric store.

I love marble, but we bought cacutta, which is so beautiful, against the stone people's advice and had a piece chip out right away. Everything was a problem, oils, wine, of course, pasta sauce, heat. We sold that house, but that marble was always high maintaninence. I didn't listen to the advice on the net.Yet, just today, the French Table from Crate and Barrel, was delivered today to our condo and I am willing to try all over again. I think carrara is denser and more impervious to staining and this table is beautiful, small and perfect for the space.

I can't afford to spend $15 to $20 for wine and after reading "The Wine Trials" by Robin Goldstein, I don't have to.The book deals with the brown bag wine tastings that revealed loads of winning wines under $10 a bottle and some even lower than that. I shop with this book and it has led me to many wines under $10 a bottle.

This place almost makes me scream. There is no space planning. The bed , at the very least, could be placed
with the headboard on the short wall. And that little dining table in the middle of the room? The pieces are cute but did you try any other configuration? It just looks like everything is in the wrong place.

The horse lamp is beautiful. I can see why you were sad to have had one broken. Where did you get The Catcher in the Rye poster? Also do you have 3 couches? Maybe one is an upholstered piece. Is it a chair? Your house is just dreamy.
