I absolutely can not stop myself when presented with a Conran book at any thrift store or garage sale. I buy them thinking that they will make someone so happy to have, but no one seems to appreciate them as I do, consequently I have multiple copies sitting on my shelves. Hoarder? I think so. I have a collection of old camping how-to's from the 40's and 50's. Wonderful old drawings of little shelters like this that enclose upon themselves and were meant to leave in the woods and then opened up for camping or cooking or whatever. Tiny Houses by Derek Diedricksen |

One of my favorite GF blogs is TheGlutenFreeLab.com. I have bought their deserts cookbook for numerous friends and family that have discovered they must go GF and thought all was lost. We aren't GF, but I thoroughly enjoy the well tested recipes. 10 Inspiring Blogs for Gluten-Free Food & Cooking |

while I love beautiful bedding, I do NOT love high thread counts. I think anything higher than 250 feels swarmy and wet. I do love love love 200 all cotton crisp sheets. and it seems they are harder and harder to find. Get Cozy With Indulgent Bedding |

huge Nagel prints and a lot of neon. also glass and brass. ugh, really the worst. and on the other end of the spectrum was the country chic look that included all the dark wood and baskets and lots of geese in gingham scarves. Decor Time Machine: The 80s |

There were instructions to make those swings in an old Sunset book from the '70's. It was either Children's Rooms and Playrooms or Children's Crafts. I always wanted to make one as a kid. Horse Tire Swing (Made From Recycled Tires) Daily Find |

We were there a few years ago with our 11mo. old and found a wonderful place that was 5 stories tall and all devoted to children. and FREE! I think it was called the Tokyo Children's Palace or something. It was wonderful. It had classes, inside playgrounds (different ones for different ages) and entire floor for toddlers including songs and games. Lunch and snacks. If I can find the info on it, I'll come back with a link or more information for you. Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh | Tips for Travel to Tokyo with Two Kids? Good Questions |

we have one that we use outside on a regular basis. It's not a lounging tub but more of a pool. We haven't experienced any problems with plumbing or draining or leakage, but we're not using it inside either. So we're not watching it as closely. I was in Topanga a few years ago and ate at Froggy's. I was trying to hold back the flood of memories of when that building was the American Legion Hall and on Friday nights it was always a huge hippy pot luck BBQ and bring your own blankets and chairs to watch Betty Boop movies. That was probably around 1978 or so. Topanga has changed so much since then. ah well. life races forward. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Outdoor Inspiration: Froggy's In Topanga Canyon |
