If you preface anything with " I hate to say it, but...", you should really keep that nastiness to yourself. Seriously, let's be a bit more civil here.

As for the space so far, both the before and after are undecorated spaces that provide a true like for like comparison. I really appreciate that aspect of the post. Now when the decorated bits arrive, we get to see the uniqueness and personality of the place.

On the topic of electric stoves, many condo buildings do not have the plumbing for gas. Secondly, many people feel that electric is safer. I lived in Switzerland for a while. I did not ever see an apartment or condo with a gas range for just that reason.

The old cabinets look like the cheap particle board variety to me. Perhaps, they were falling apart and needed to be replaced. Most of the research that I have read says that ikea has come a long way and gets good marks for reliability and sustainability. Anyone who talks about a solid wood kitchen cabinet probably means one not made with any particle board or mdf. That cabinet probably does have a plywood component to allow for dimensional stability of the box in changing temperatures and humidity levels. If you really bought a solid wood cabinet, the price would be somewhere near an order of magnitude more expensive and could still have huge issues with splitting, warping and cracking in a kitchen situation.

A few of you need to really be shooed out of this forum with the brooms you flew in on.

This post sucks...Another bad pun, to be sure. Let's stick to design and not delve into any generic psycho babble.

Okay, so they have gifts for all budgets provided. This is one for higher budgets. Stop all this whining all the time people. It is tiresome. I do not plan to give any 500 dollar gifts either, but love the list for drool worthy items.

I really loved the Oskar humidifier during my time here in Switzerland. I plan to get one that runs on 120V when I return to the US next year.

If the surface is flat, you may want to try using modge podge to affix the paper. It would be more permanent.

This was a super treatment. I am really impressed. Some people use a projector and trace the images from a book or electronic file.

That said, did anyone else notice that the price of that stencil was $1050! I don't care if those were Hong Kong dollars, that is still a wad a cash for a stencil. If it is Zimbabwe dollars, I stand corrected.

Great job with the change. I wonder why everyone decides that they need to share what is and is not their style. Stop the egomania.

This seems a bit dangerous. I just imagine items falling on heads or the floor and breaking into foot-slicing shards.

I think that Scry confused the title of this post to mean that everything in it was vegetarian. Rather, these round ups are often given a title that reflects just a few of the items listed.

I found it rather challenging this year. The best entries were either in the Teeny Tiny or Tiny division. Rather honestly, the top 3 to 5 in those categories were better than anything in the other categories.

I find no humor (or irony) in the comment about the taxidermied head of a person, gay or not. Let go of the anger.

There is also low sodium V8. It actually tastes great. So, try that instead. I often use an organic tomato juice with Worcestershire sauce, fish sauce, sea salt to make it work. Sometimes a bit of carrot juice goes in to cut down on the overall acidity.

I also like to dry things until they are slightly damp and let them air dry the rest of the way. I think that it is easier on the fabric too.

I like what you have done here. However, the photos are using some sort of fish eye effect. That makes it hard to do really get a good perspective.
