I like to orange or red suggestions.

From what I can see, you could afford to expand your kitchen a little. You could do a la shaped design, with the fridge being just below the stairs leading to the bed. Then you fill that space with counters and storage below!

I know the island thing is oh so popular(is it really practical in every situation? not so sure), but with the extra counter space from the l shaped design, you might not even need that island.

And I agree that giving color and material suggestions is difficult when we don't know your style. Another picture of the living space might help.

And show us when you guys are done!

Shows how good houses can helps furniture look nicer. House #1 was way better, and house #2 does not show the furniture in it's full potential.. (checkered curtains?)

the blue bag actually stained my white pants, as I was taking my clothes (in the IKEA blue bag) to the laundromat. The light stroke from me walking was enough to put a huge blue spot on my pants (hip level). I tried to remove it with a multitude of products, to no avail. I have also tried using that blue bag again, but it always stains my clothes (the ones I am wearing)...

I have my own milk glass collection, but this one is making me jealous! and very good idea against the blue... I might do something similar with a prune background...

But I'd add a bit of color, somehow one teal pillow is not enough color for me. But of course that's just me.

ha ha! I knew the moment I read it that the 3 1/2 would confuse them all. We (Québécois) count the bathroom as a half room for some unknown reason. So that would be a 1 bedroom yes.
