I'd also like to request a more mobile friendly design, or a mobile site. A couple other blogs I read do that, and it is a nice feature. Welcome to (the New) The Kitchn! |

I'd be curious to see a follow-up post about ideas how to use all the crazy salts we have that don't get tons of use. Which Kinds of Salt (And How Many!) Are In Your Pantry? |

Nthing the wine and food request! For example, at the end of the week when you guys do the sort of recipe roundup, to have some wine pairing suggested with the week's recipes. What Do You Want to Learn (and Read) About Wine? |

I don't do much frosting with piping tips, but on the rare occasions that I do, I just use a ziplock bag. I guess I don't see how this is easier. You just throw the whole ziplock bag away, so you're still not washing anything, other than the tip. Video: Use Plastic Wrap For Easier Icing Cleanup |

My question would be if YOU have tried these wines. Also, where did you see them? I live in Chicago, so I'd be curious if the keg wine has made it out here yet. I think it's a great idea. Introducing: Keg Wine! |

Yes to the roasted brussels sprouts method. Cut them in half, sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper, and then roast at 425ish for 10-15 minutes. Throw some lemon juice and parmesean cheese on after they're out of the oven, and you're in heaven. I have converted many BS haters (including myself) with this method. I hit the top of my hand on an oven rack, and my mom told me to put the cut side of a raw potato on the burn. No idea what about it works, but it totally did! Ouch! How Do You Treat a Kitchen Burn? |

I have some blackstrap molasses I've been trying to find a use for. Do you have a suggestion for how much I should use in this recipe? I've read that blackstrap and dark cannot be subbed in a 1:1 ratio, but I'm not exactly sure what to use to take up the rest of the liquid volume. Honey perhaps? Recipe: Dark and Damp Molasses Cake |

I got this from my mom: Tomato slices, buttered rye bread and some salt and pepper. This only works for tomatoes fresh from the garden though. No others compare. I could really go for one of those now. How Do You Enjoy Fresh-From-the-Garden Tomatoes? |

I see a lot of people's point about not taxing food in general, and I think that makes sense. To me I think the bigger issue is subsidizing only certain foods (corn and soy) that are the main ingredients in processed foods, which then makes them cheaper. Should We Tax Bad Food? |

I can see that if you are trying to make a living based on a particular recipe, then you obviously don't want others to be able to make it, but if you're just a home cook, I really don't get it. I'm totally with @cmcinnyc. Do You Have Any Secret Recipes? |

I am a huge anti-clutter freak (reading some other people's lists are already making me nervous ;P), so the only things I have out are my toaster oven, tea kettle on the stove, salt pig and pepper mill, and hand soap at the sink. And my Cookie Monster cookie jar, but I don't think that really counts. It's more decoration. :) Kitchen Clutter Control: What's On Your Countertop? |

I too love me some Kraft mac and cheese. My other secret love is the "chili"-cheese burrito from Taco Bell. I don't think they have them everywhere either, but they are so tasty. :) Even with the fake meat reports, I'd still get my once yearly splurge. Do You Have a Secret Food? |

I love casseroles as much as the next person, but I was wondering if there was such a thing as a "small" casserole, that doesn't serve a small army. I know a lot are freezer-friendly, but it would be nice to have a casserole-style meal for one or two (or even 4!) instead of 8. It's Casserole Week at The Kitchn! |
