Love the look of your dressing room - What was the source for the beautiful clothes racks? A small folding screen for the cat boxes would get my vote. I would keep it, but remove the square trim at the top and bottom. I like the round shape, it goes with the duct work and contrasts with the kitchen "ceiling" it visually supports.
