One more helpful hint while washing greens.. I pour in at least a cup of vinegar to kill of any bacteria to the water and leave the lettuce,spinach, rockets etc. there for at least 20 mins. Makes them squeeky clean:) Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Simple Tip: How to Wash Lettuce |
