I was in Nashville in June and walked by this shop. There was no clear signage in front and it didn't even look like a store. Maybe they're going for an exclusivity thing but honestly, they should make the place a little more appealing to foot traffic.

Personally, I'm a fan of yellow kitchens, and I think yellow would work well for yours since it's so sunny.

It's hard to see the drawer pulls -- are they shaped liked utensils? I'd recommend updating those to something classic.

I agree that the island is awkward, and it looks like you have a lot of space anyway. The rug is pretty, but I think it's too big for the space. I'd get a few smaller, matching rugs.

I normally try not to post negative things on AT, but I have to say I agree with Patrick (the other one). I've seen plastic doll heads displayed in other homes and to me, it just screams "CREEPY!"

On a positive note, I think the use of gray in this home is lovely.

My bed is on an angle, so I hide my humidifyer behind the head.

If that's not an option, maybe place it in a corner with a big plant in front of it? I bet the plant might even like it.

Otherwise, I'd just deal with it.
