I feel like you really need a rug in your living room.

And curious about what is hanging on your bedroom wall?? Are they just paintings? Or...?

I love the light in the kitchen - both the electrics and just the natural light coming in, it made it look so warm and inviting.

The cow painting cracked me up - very Texas!

The bath is of course great too.

Only thing I don't like is your couch cushions. They look a bit odd and too big perhaps?

Hmm, not sure about the trunk there. I thought it looked really odd and out of place, though I understand it is probably amazing storage for you in such a tiny space.

Bravo on living in that tiny area with someone else too!!! I think it would be a squeeze for one person, but 2?? Well done!

I also love your bathroom tile.

And I love that you're in Minnesota - always too many NY, LA, SF entries in this contest, so love a bit of diversity!

It's so interesting that so many places in London come furnished like that. I live in Sydney, Australia and I'm pretty sure finding a furnished place that isn't crazy expensive is unheard of.

When I was living in London it was great as I had nothing, but at same time it is hard living with weird stuff that doesn't work, like I am not a fan of your big dining table chairs at all and they do sort of overwhelm things. But I think you've done a good job with the stuff you can't change.

That couch is awesome. I just want to run and dive and flop on it!

I am definitely loyal to my coffee house of choice and go there every Saturday and Sunday without fail.

I live in Sydney and love MY cafe because I am able to site outside in the sunshine year round. It isn't pretentious, or over the top in trendiness, just a familar comfortable fit.

Enough. Luke, reveal yourself! I can't take it!

I don't care if this is an "apartment" or not, I just want answers!!

Like a lot of people have commented, it is nice to see a Grand Rapids (and not NY entry) for a change! Nice to know you dont have to be in Manhattan to have a place with a bit of an edge.

Having said that, can't say I am a fan of the eye painting. It is just too creepy for me and coming home to scary eyes just doesn't say welcome home to me!!

Well done though

I kind of like how this entry has caused a stir. He has definitely made a few polarising choices, but that just makes things interesting!

The zebra print is definitely not for me and it cheapens everything in my opinion, but otherwise I love the bed.

I would love to have seen a photograph of the space in daylight, I am sure it looks totally different and maybe tones down that sexy man cave thing a bit that might be putting people off?

Slick job though overall

I must admit I am not a fan of the diagonal bed, though totally understand you probably didn't have a choice. It just looks a bit odd.

But otherwise, love the yellow foot stool!

I would love to see the puppy pillow too!

Those yellow cabinets are definitely attention grabbing. I have no idea if I like them or not! Or if I could live with them. They are such a nice pop of colour, but if you aren't in the mood, might feel like they are all too much!

Simple, clean and lovely.

Love that pie poster!

Looove it! Can I ask which part of Sydney is this in?

Where did you get your fab magazine or book rack? I couldn't tell if you made it yourself and it is just painted and with shelves or it somehow attaches to the wall?

I agree with a number of the comments above - don't you get scared in that bed without a railing?? Or is it just the angle of the photograph that is making it look dangerous?

I really liked how slick your bathroom looked. Do you really keep it like that all the time??

Even though a lot of the furnishings weren't to my personal taste I loved the fludity to your choices - everything matched and was cohesive which is so hard to do.

It is so hard to resist temptation when you see something you love, but know it won't work in your small space.

Your office area is a great idea, but I have to agree with the comment above. I think your bedding really lets it down. It seems to draw my attention away from the skyline poster and wish you had just a simple white bed spread or something like that?

But otherwise good job in making the most of a tiny area!

Very slick and stylish, it looks like you have put a lot of effort in.

Maybe too much however? It was like I was looking for a small flaw to humanise it a bit?

It is showroom perfect, but I didn't get a sense of who you are? Or maybe you are slick and stylish yourself and actually this home IS a good reflection of your personality.

Only thing I didn't like at all was the couch. Is that comfy to lean back on?? I think if you have a lifestyle of lots of nights out and hardly at home, or do lots of formal entertaining it would be fine, but if you are a lying on the couch watching movies and bad TV sort of person it certainly doesn't look inviting or cosy.
