I cannot focus on the furnishings because I keep getting distracted by that floating stair. Those slabs of wood must somehow be cantilevered from the wall. A pretty tricky detail, but nice if you can pull it off.

I really like the rustic table with the modern chairs and the clean tableware. It's a nice comfortable look.

"sustainability" and "green" are overexposed terms used today. Just because a home has low voc paint and a piece of recycled furniture does not make the home sustainable.

This particular space is a nice clean design. Why not just leave it at that?

Nice modern open plan. Modern yet still warm.

Something about the interiors does not seem quite "pulled together". I do like the strong simple forms of the exterior massing however.

I am so not a wallpaper person - but these patterns look very well designed.

Perhaps the interior of the exterior walls should have been retained as original, which would not have been all white. Then this could have been contrasted by the all white new interiors. This certainly would have come off less sterile and perhaps a bit more dramatic.

They say in Architecture School that "form follows function". This is pretty much true in my house where every single piece of furniture is utilized.

What is the function of artwork though? Is it simply to beautify - or to create mood? I guess that is just important.

Very nice house. Clean and simple. Almost with a shaker quality in some photos.

This is one very sophisticated apartment. It's a simple design yet daring at the same time. I'd never think to mix those stripes with the other geometries.
