i just bought my book at stacey's in SF today and am SO excited after even just reading the very begining. i am also taking an survey of interior architecture class online this fall so i think it will be really cool to do both things at the same time. i've just recently become interested in interior decorating and the concept of creating a home so i think this will be a great way to stay motivated and learn a lot :) Apartment Therapy - The Fall Cure: Getting Oriented Week One |

i love the couch! i have curtains that are a similar color, a chocolate brown couch and light blue walls. i was very nervous painting the walls light blue but love it! any light cool toned color would probably be pretty :) Apartment Therapy - Good Questions: What Color Matches My Couches? |

i used silver metallic contact paper to cover the bar/counter top between my living room and kitchen. it is a great cheap, way to change up your kitchen. Aubuchon Hardware's Contact Paper |
