I'm just wondering, what does it mean to "adapt" a recipe? This is the same, word for word, as the one in Food and Wine, which is itself adapted from a pastry chef's own recipe.

I took a panel of some kind of insulation (sorry, I'm not real well acquainted with the materials) and covered it with a panel curtain with a pretty print from Urban Outfitters. Then I nailed the panel (horizontally) to the wall.

Delicious. It reminds me of a Swedish dish called Biff a la Lindstrom, with ground beef, chopped beets, and capers.

I added some worcestershire sauce to the mix and liked it.

Love the Anthropologie curtain, but is it still available? I can't find it on the website.

Four of the units in my building have had bedbugs since January. My upstairs neighbor has seriously lost her mind...After months of extermination, we (the condo association) just paid $5,000 to have those units heat treated - they come in with electric heaters and raise the indoor temperature to 160 degrees to kill the bugs and their eggs.

I have to take out the trash, make the bed, and do the dishes. And...lay a clean shirt on the bed. I'm superstitious!

Another reason not to buy imported goods that you don't really need: the infestation of tree-eating beetles that is about to hit New England may have originated in a wooden crate from China. (On the other hand, for the same reason, I'm a little leery of bringing in baskets and such that I find on the street.)

Definitely the bedroom. By the time I go in there, I'm tired, and I just step out of my clothes and leave them on the floor, or maybe sling them onto the chair.

I'm a city sophisticate, I guess because for "where are you in life" I chose the gal shaving her legs.

Mark my tofu steaks, I need this!
