I wash the laundry but it takes a week or so to get folded. I take my clothes off and they stay in a pile on the floor till I clean up. My shoes pile up in the corner in my room. My dishes go unwashed until I nag my husband to death about loading the dishwasher (thats all I ask him to do and he can't seem to get it done until I threaten not to cook). And I procrastinate about mopping my floor because I live in a sea of slate.

One criteria. Sweet! But I do wine taste so I will try anything once.

My garlic chopper. The garlic chopper is quite fun because you throw the garlic in and then roll it around on the counter top. Like playing cars almost. When you are finished you've got minced garlic and you've felt like you got your youth back. Its like a trip to the preschool rug and back.

I'm glad this question came up. I had a Port wine that had been opened by my husband and he never finished it. I didn't want to pour it out but it had been sitting in the fridge for weeks. I wish I had known this before poured it out. I think I like the ice cube method. I can easily be dropped into soups, sauces or marinades.

I love garlic! We've had a pretty hot relationship for a long time.

I was just on momlogic.com and came across this recipe for steel cut oats in the slow cooker. Put them in at night and have them done in the morning. I think this is a great idea for those of us that need and want instant breakfast.
------
Breakfast on the Go: Skip those sugary packets of instant oatmeal and opt for steel-cut oats because they're so much more delicious and healthy for you. Moms tell me that they don't have the 30 minutes to cook this oatmeal in the morning. Here's a fast fix: The night before, toss the oats in your slow cooker with the berries of your choice and even some almonds. Set at a low speed. You will wake up to a delicious smell and your family's oatmeal is ready to eat. Specifically, take one cup each of steel-cut oats and mixed berries, four cups of water, and add a tsp of cinnamon. Cook on a low setting for eight hours.

I love roasted veggies. I usually put in carrots, mushrooms, zucchini and onion and broil them with a little olive oil, garlic and sea salt. Yummy!

I have the older version. If you leave it alone for a day or two it will dry up and clog. I went out of town once and came back trying to figure out why it wasn't working. Not only did it clog but I opened it up and the gear mechanism was sticky with soap. After I cleaned it and played with the sensor for a little while it got going again. I noticed that if you use the a thinner type soap that you also get more soap out of it and can use the setting that dispenses the least soap. I really like it overall because I am a serious hand washer (LOL) but wish the soap would clog if I don't use it for a day or two.

Everything. I really want to organize my drawers and cabinets so that everything has a place. And then I am short a couple of appliances. And for some reason I bought bowls when we moved in and I have no bowls. My silverware is dwindling and I can't figure out if the dishwasher is eating them or my husband and child aren't getting enough to eat and they decided to eat the silverware too.

I have tons of counter space yet, since I despise clutter I have only a few selected items on my countertop. I have my oil and vinegar decanters, kitchen aid stand mixer, 4 glass storage containers for hot breakfast cereals like oats a grit, telephone, spice rack, knife storage and three decorative items . With all the counter space it looks slightly on the empty side. But I like it that way. Nothing bugs me more than to walk into the kitchen and not be able to identify wants on the counter because of all the clutter.

I display my Kitchen Aid stand mixer because its just a pretty piece of equipment. But when i think of it I really don't have any appliance. I don't drink coffee so my maker hasn't even moved out of the cabinet since I moved in and is only for company. I don't eat much toast if any at all so I don't have a toaster. I just do it the old fashion way of using the oven. But my little hand mixers and misc. are under the cabinet. Matter of fact I need a few things like a processor and a blender.

I try to sweep once a week. I mop by feel of the floor. I hate it so. I have tile throughout my house and it is quite a chore to mop the entire kitchen, den, hallway all the way down to the hallway with the bedrooms and the bathrooms. Sometimes I wish I had wood floors instead. The mopping really only needs to be done once a month in the main hallway. But I admit the kitchen could be done at least once a week.

I don't regret the sectional in my family room because its quite comfortable. But I do regret the sectional in my living room. Although it is a beautiful half circular sofa and made of a soft microfiber, now I am having second thoughts as to how I want my living room designed.

A woman I met said once that you have to pray over food these days because sometimes you just don't know what you're getting. This is true in light of the long list of foods they added to the list of dangerous food such as eggs and milk, etc. meaning they have a high contamination rate.

My father makes the best ribs stove top/ oven. He boils them first and then loads them in the oven. I don't know the whole process but they are just as good as the grill.

Guilty also. Who can deny wanting to make everything around you beautiful? My husband saw those new fancy M&Ms the other day and said he wouldn't mind having those sitting around in a large bowl. Nothing like aesthetics!

I bought one of these the other day from World Market. I have the adult size cooler version which has a cooler lining with a zip top and the foldable handle. I love that thing. Great for picnics, the beach or game.
