The Ikea potty was the best one we tried, hands down. Very easy to clean it, and the "lip" in front comes up high enough to prevent spills for a little guy. We took our son car camping when he was 8 mo old; we just brought along his pack & play and set it up in the tent. It was a lot of fun! If you have a campfire, though, make sure you have a way to keep the kids away from it! This summer will be his 3rd year camping, and this time we'll be bringing his 10 mo baby sister. I hope she takes to it as well as he did! We will be bringing her a pea pod for in the tent, and leave the pack & play for outside the tent only. Have fun if you go!
