Thanks for posting this iteration of this little dresser, Apartment Therapy! Just for the record, it's the last one, I promise.

Nature lovers, I know hummingbirds don't feed on cattails, it was a late-night detail I added, thinking the surface pattern needed a sense of movement. Let's just say that hummingbird is passing through, yes?

The chest looks better in person as it anchors the Valentine window of the Lake Forest Resale Shop, a charity thrift I started this last May. Come on up and see it.

I know it looks like a fine mid-century piece, but this chest really is a piece of particle board junk. The back features a cheap piece of linoleum to hold it all together, and I had to reglue the drawer gliders, which were coming apart at the staples.

I'm not done with it yet. Though a 2nd decoupage makeover was a failed attempt - I really tried hard to make it work - I think there's a way to salvage it. I'll post the results in the coming week. --Diana
