Thanks! The structure is a potting shed. The roof is actually smoked polycarbonate panels. In the fire they melted like wax; luckily they were fairly easy to replace.

This matchup against Gidget is the toughest vote so far. You got my vote in the end, Mandi, because the colors in your room are so bold, daring and energetic. You used them together artistically, and, taken as a whole, your color pallet is very sophisticated. I hope you make it to Round 4.

In response to a comment you left on my entry (Randolph in Salt Lake City): Thank you for your kind words -- that was so sweet of you and totally made my morning! But no worries. It has been thoroughly fun looking through the other entries, and I learned a lesson about strategy.

May I also say, though, that I love your entry and knew you'd be going on to the finals as soon as I saw it. While I'm not an artist, I come from a family of artists and seeing bold art displayed so prominently always makes me smile, deep on the inside. Plus, your piano is just too cool. The first picture didn't really do it for me, but by the third my breath was utterly taken away. This room is stunning.

Is it asking too much that a person merely straighten out their bedding before taking a picture of their bed? I don't think it looks lived-in -- I think it looks like spiders might be lying in wait.
