I'm also fully on board the rooibos train, after having it as a panna cotta (at Craigie on Main in Cambridge, MA). A few places here near boston stock teas from MEM tea importers, and their rooibos is amazing. Starbucks' vanilla rooibos by Tazo is pretty good too.

Here's one for you all. I need recommendations for a new dishwasher soap. My water glasses seem to come out with a translucent film on them no matter what I try. I don't think my water is particularly hard or mineral-y. I've used Palmolive Eco, and Method Smarty Dish, both with and without Jet Dry. Thoughts?

I had a cup of Terroir at the new Cafe Crema in Harvard Square. The coffee (and the food) was fantastic.

I'd include my grandmother's potato salad and chili recipes. I just love those simple classics done well!

I'll have a share from Parker Farm for the first time this summer. I too have heard great things, and I love that they deliver to me in Davis the day before the weekly farmers market, so I can supplement with more goodies. They also include fruit in the CSA.

As a bonus, Steve, the farmer, sends weekly email updates which I have already come to look forward to.

Garnet Hill is amazing. My grandparents have flannel sheet sets from them that are at least 25 years old and still going strong.

I thought that Jamie's show was definitely a refreshing change for the Food Network. He seems more genuine, less scripted than most of the other hosts.
I've never really been a huge fan of sweet peppers as they are, but the pork roast with peppers literally made me drool. I'm looking forward to seeing him use other ingredients.

P.S. to Art - I'm quite sure that the Chairman does not have a vote on IC.

I don't know if it's just on in New England, but Ciao Italia with Maryanne Esposito is the show that made me want to start cooking. My dad and I used to watch it on Saturday mornings when I was a kid.

I too adore Hendrick's gin. I think it looks (and tastes) quite lovely with long thin shavings of cucumber, either with or without tonic. It also amazes me how the cucumber gets crispy rather than limp when it sits in the alcohol.

I agree that the clothes look a little disheveled here. I have the expedit in my dining room holding wine glasses, decanters, photos, as well as some books.

The West Elm canvas storage boxes fit well in the expedit, which makes for a great place to hide receipts, papers, and other things I just need to stash somewhere.

Spring mix salad with leftover roasted chicken. Also, Pepperidge Farm's 100 calorie packs are rocking my world right now.

Might it be less hassle just to buy a shorter tension rod? I think I've seen them in varying lengths at Bed Bath & Beyond, etc.

Lexan dishware is great for camping. It's lightweight, doesn't retain smells or stains, and pretty impossible to break (it's what Nalgene bottles are made from). Here's an example:

I also recommend Snow Peak's titanium spork - functional outside and for ice cream...
