So happy to see Kristin's work on AT! Her art is amazing, whimsical and mood-enhancing.

What a beautiful home. Totally agree that it's quite the visual feast, without being at all overwhelming. J'adore!

It's really gorgeous. The combination of art and textiles is perfect, it looks effortless but I know from my own attempts it is far from that! Some serious talent is at work here.

Thanks for the great tour!

Absolutely beautiful! Totally glamorous but somehow, really warm. I'm a huge fan of Monument and it's inspiring to see its aesthetic so beautifully brought into Sam's home, and mixed with really eclectic personal touches (including the art, nude as it may be). A lovely home, thank you for the look inside!

How I wish the amazing yellow stools looked like those in the pictures (particularly #2 and 3) in our abode! Why are the most fabulous pieces often the hardest to make work? Tell me please.

I saw this this weekend, it is amazing!!! If any of you SFers have strange lightwells like I do, the pockets are a perfect way to fill up the often unsightly wall space.

Hello again,

Thanks everyone for the feedback and comments! They're really appreciated. We've tried to make a home that's lovely and comfortable, and that fits our changing lifestyle with a little one. It's an evolving project - aren't they all?!

I think this should answer all the questions: the orange and white blanket is the Nixon from Jonathan Adler. It was a gift and way out of our $ range, but I gotta admit it's great quality and worth it.

The area rug is from Williams and Sonoma home. On clearance a ways back.

The red and white birds are from Wayne Pate at www.goodshapedesign.com.

The falling man isn't available in a print, sadly. More about the wonderful artist at www.deborahgibbon.com.

The bird duvet is from Dwell on super sale at Design Public, and the black and white pillow is from Ikea. They probably still have them.

I think that's everything...

Cheers, Anne

Oh! And the autographs are from W. Summerset Maugham, Benjamin Cardozo and Clarence Darrow.

Thanks so much for the sweet comments!

The tea party painting is by Kirsten Tradowsky: http://www.kirstentradowsky.com/2007.html. So sorry to overlook siting her! It's really lovely in person, as is everything I've seen from her.

The sofa is from Room and Board, it's the Burke, which appears to be discontinued. They've got many others that look like it though.

What a lovely, creative home! Where is that Rod Stewart painting from? It's divine.

I agree this is helpful - being skeptical (er, cheap) when it comes to professional framers. I walk past Edgewise all the time, good to know they'd be worth the investment. I've also got one of the Obama prints that needs a lovely home. Funny.

I work for Friends of the SFPL and we love Apartment Therapy! For anyone interested in building their book collection our Big Book Sale (the largest on the West Coast) takes place September 28, 29 and 30 at Fort Mason. Lots of coffee table bargains and a great way to support SF libraries to boot...
