if you have a double oven i don't know that I would bother with a warming drawer. A beverage drawer would be awesome.

Doesn't really answer your original question but if you can have good quality ones shipped to you, then you could zest the lemon and squeeze the juice and freeze both.

maybe Keffir lime leaves. They can be difficult to find here, they can be frozen and they weigh nothing to transport.

And maybe some cool serving or cooking implements. I wish I had gotten a basket for making sticky rice. 3 yrs later after our Thai honeymoon and we're still obsessed with mango sticky rice

wow, it's like ohdeedoh is reading my mind. This post AND the post on the forward facing bookshelves in one day.

We have a beat up Ikea Lack table that needs replacing and my husband wants to get the same one but I keep telling him that the now 2 month old will be walking before we know it and he and I have both nailed ourselves against that table so we need a table with rounded edges. That Ikea stockholm table with the round edges may work, thanks!

wow, i was JUST about to do a search for something like this for the babe's room. Her room is too small for a proper bookshelf. This may do the trick

I don't like Ricotta either. I use small curd cottage cheese and mix it with shredded mozzarella and some parmesan and blend it with an egg (got that mix off the back of a Skinner lasagna box a while ago) and use that in place of Ricotta.

And I do the dried lasagna noodles too...it takes longer to cook but quicker to prep. I put it in the oven and then go take a shower and get ready.

Oh and I sometimes sprinkled dried dill on top of it before...it's totally weird and not authentic in the least but there's something really yummy about it...maybe I just like it cuz my Persian mom made it that way(she uses it instead of oregano) and it makes me sentimental for childhood

I agree but is the blue chandelier pic from Russell's place? I think I remember that shot from a piece on a property of Sarah Jessica Parker's...

I'm cracking up over here. I keep telling people about how I just got my first "big girl bed", the brown velvet Archer bed from C&B.Anyway it really depends how much you want to "sink into" a sofa. The Andre definitely is not that. Not uncomfortable but not the most comfy either. I can't remember about the other two but i notice all the ones you chose are tightbacks and i personally like a good soft pillow back to lean against.

Sharbat-e-albalu (Sour cherry syrup) is truly one of the great joys of Persian summers. I have a bottle of Adriatic brand sour cherry syrup on my counter right now, waiting for the summer to come (It's been raining SO much in Texas.) This year, I'm planning to be an infidel and try the syrup with vodka and soda
