Hate the autoplay, people. Is this a setting I can change?

nothing is to everyone's taste. I, however, think these look great.

I just made these with old-fashioned oats, and I think they would be better with quick oats. The old-fashioned seem too toothsome--which normally I like, but the oats don't get cooked, so unless you like the texture of oats straight from the carton, you might want quick oats.

Seriously? "When dessert is served with both fork and spoon, the fork is the pusher and the spoon is used for eating." I believe that the point of etiquette is to make guests and hosts feel comfortable, not full of anxiety. The fork is the pusher?

My rules are simple: enjoy yourself, but please eat with your mouth closed. Don't drink too much. Avoid antagonizing the other guests. Please try everything I've prepared, unless you have an allergy--which hopefully you've communicated to me in advance which would mean it's not on the table anyway.

That's about it.

Also, in Raleigh (Hillsborough), there are two Milo Baughman chairs + 1 ottoman, and a couple of sweet danish dining tables:

towers are hard to eat. These look pretty, but i'd rather just have the ingredients composed on the plate in more of a pile. Thanks for the inspiration, though. I've been looking for a nice gluten-free, vegetarian choice for thanksgiving.

There's no bench on the other side of the table in #4, so there's no need to get to the other side.

I keep it simple--one pair of shoes for the kid. it's working for us so far, but then, my kid isn't a mud-stomping puddle jumper, so we don't really need to rotate shoes.

I'm genuinely interested in what people who have a no-shoes policy do if they also have pets who ever go outside. Do you make them wear shoes which you remove when the animal comes in? Give their feet a scrubbing?

I am not a pet owner, nor do I require people take their shoes off when they visit.

Corduroy, do you know they make plate hangers? I assume that's what's used here. (not being snide if you're looking for an alternative to plate hangers)

I just saw an episode of Design Inc or one of Sarah Richardson's other shows where she put the beds end to end along one wall (no footboards). You might not have the room to do that, but what about end to end, no footboards, in the corner.

Of course I love those pics of the staggered bunks. And it gives you some extra room for a dresser or desk.
