And maybe this is a little tangent to the post, but i was just discussing last night how disappointing it was in Star Wars when Qui Gon was able to detect the strength of the force in young anakin by measuring the amount metaclurians in blood with a tricorder type device. a misapplication of scifi tech that kind of ruined the mystery of the force for me. my only real pet peeve is the dim mood lighting in operating rooms and forensics labs. whether you're solving a mystery or about to sleep with your coworker, it happens under harsh fluorescent lighting if its happening in a lab. otherwise, when suspension of disbelief wears off, i just set aside disbelief and try to enjoy what i'm watching. unless someone has an obsessively cohesive and sparse wardrobe, exposed hanging clothes has to look messy. if it has to be done it appears from the last photo that the best way to prevent the appearance of clutter is to orient the rack so that only the first or last item is exposed. this way the viewer doesn't see crowding or clashing patterns and colors. putting the couch in front of the balcony would obstruct the flow from the heating vent. maybe put the couch under the stairs? Looks like you have about 7feet to work with there. if you opt for a love seat that might work. you could position the media console closer to the kitchen on the opposite wall and the desk closer to the balcony on that same wall. The white theme seems to look best when you have white floors. at least its been shown that way in AT posts. I think dark might work better with natural wood floors. what do you guys think? Dark or Light Paint in the Bedroom? |

i've considered this for my studio because it doesn't have any usable corners but it never really works. The bed+couch combo would protrude to far into the rest of the space and could never be centered...the layout of my studio is just tragic. also, i shouldn't have a queen sized bed, a loveseat and matching daybed, a proper desk (as opposed to a table which would serve multiple functions) and a plush chair. i spend more time on floorplanner then i care to admit. my tub has been painted with tub paint and its slowly chipping away. whenever i scrub the tub or shower more comes off. i heard a tub should only be repainted professionally and i doubt my land(slum)lord will pay for it. is there a porcelain safe way to remove the paint?
