I was told that the tilt heads tend to break over time after use, the uprights are therefore more durable.

every couple should have the wedding they want to have and the gifts that they want. i only get annoyed when i see registries for people who obviously don't cook, and it's all kitchen stuff. having just gotten married, it is very annoying when people get things that aren't on your registry. I wanted every single thing on my registry, not an item that I already have in a different version that is impossible to return. that said, i have a big rule for registry shopping, I never buy a couple anything that's plastic.

i wouldn't do a loft bed, but instead put full height shelves in the living area. then you can have a bed, two arm chairs, a small dining table with chairs, and a trunk. that way it will feel more open and not claustrophobic. i would for-go a sofa in this space and maybe consider a day bed in place of a real bed.

my friend got this for me as a present. it is a really great book to have. everything i have made from it, including the pancetta rolls and the chocolate tortes have been delicious and I've been lending the book to everyone. i love the pictures and simple directions!

The reason why vendors don't deal with the public, is to maintain a connection with the interior designer rather than their client. This prevents the client from going behind the designer's back and purchasing fabric without paying the design fee. By keeping the purchasing exclusive, they are maintaining their relationship with their real client, the designers, who will give them repeat business, not just a few yards here and there.
